 Dunroamin  - B & B Chirk

Dunroamin is a period property which used to be a part of Chirk Castle Estate, it is almost a hundred years old and retains all its original features. My self and my husband are very friendly and accommodating to reasonable requests. There is private parking and a private garden which is landscaped to a high standard with a pond full of stock including trout. There are two levels of accommodation on offer, a self contained out building which is en suite, separate lounge area, double bed, sky TV with DVD, microwave, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, central heating and all of this finished to a high standard. The room within the main house is a king size Seventh Heaven antique bed, with polished wooden floors and original panelled wooden doors and cupboards. All fixtures and fittings as well as bedding are to an exceptional high standard with views to open fields.

Dunroamin which is situated on Station Avenue boasts all the main attractions within Chirk. Within a couple of minutes of stepping out of the front door you can access the footpath of the Llangollen canal which can take you to Chirk Marina or Chirk Golf Club. And also in the opposite direction you can access a feat of engineering - the canal "darky" tunnel which is over two hundred years old and carries the canal on the exit of the tunnel to the canal basin, which feeds the Chirk aqueduct and opposite the Chirk viaduct. Chirk castle and the main gates are also within walking distance along country lanes. Offa's Dyke is only a stones throw away and the Ceiriog Valley is only four miles from Chirk.
