The Oak - Y Dderwen - Glyn Ceiriog

The Oak is a traditional Welsh free house pub with a contemporary twist offering great Real Ales and roaring fires during the winter months. The Ceiriog Valley is one of Wales' best kept secrets, only three miles over the hill from Llangollen yet enjoying the tranquillity and beauty of the Welsh landscape at its best.

We are a family friendly pub offering a children's menu. We provide high chairs.

Sit on the deck and enjoy stunning views of the Ceiriog Valley or relax in our restaurant and enjoy some of the best food in the area, all locally sourced where possible and freshly made. Our menu offers high quality home cooked food providing excellent value for money. Vegetarian options available.

We cater for all functions and have regular themed and music nights.

We hope that you enjoy your experience at The Oak, Y Dderwen. We are a group of people from the Ceiriog Valley who have come together to keep The Oak, Y Dderwen as a great local pub, employing local people. We aim to provide you with the best possible service, quality and value for money, and hopefully a great night out!
