The Hand Hotel was built in the reign of James I, it is situated in the historic border town of Chirk, less than 2 minutes drive off the A5. The Hand Hotel has been renowned for its warmth and hospitality of over 300 years.

Originally an important coaching house for travellers along the A5 from London to Holyhead, the hotel retains all the ambience and atmosphere of a bygone age, whilst offering extensive modernised facilities to meet the needs of the discerning modern day visitor.
